About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Brooklyn, New York, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, observing and reporting unusual activity, and providing customer service and communication. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 9:45 AM to 8:00 PM, at $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site policies, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs, maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
