As a Security Officer - Retail Site in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and/or notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for team members, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and/or report suspicious behavior, damaged property, or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at a retail distribution location by observing site activity, assisting with directions and/or questions, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the property.
