As a Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, storefronts, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with property management, tenants, and the Allied Universal team.
