About The Position

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and property perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
