As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Driver Role in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will drive through assigned areas, complete routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and property conditions, assist with visitor and/or vendor interactions as directed, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
