As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Role in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, waterfront access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and authorized personnel movement while helping to support credential checks, vehicle screening, and other post orders related to a public-facing facility.
  • Communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and public agency representatives regarding site rules, directions, and incident-related instructions while maintaining professionalism at all times.
