As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
- Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and vendors with inquiries and directions as needed.
- Carry out Allied Universal security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at all times.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed, helping to maintain order and provide support during incidents.
