About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in Tipton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service at a dynamic food and beverage location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access control points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Monitor and control access to the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain site protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, including production and storage areas, to help to deter suspicious activity and promote a secure environment.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist in maintaining compliance with food and beverage industry regulations by following site-specific security-related protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and visitors to address inquiries and provide directions as needed.
