About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Gate in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to established protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or access control duties.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related objectives and maintain a professional presence.
Assist with visitor management, including verifying identification and providing directions as needed.
