Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk Driver in San Rafael, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will monitor access, assist with inquiries, and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging visitors and notifying residents as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
