Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Residential in Winthrop, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential front desk where you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will greet residents and guests, manage access procedures, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate clearly with property staff and responding services as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific, security-related procedures and building policies.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and maintaining accurate logs of entries, exits, deliveries, and service calls.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, intercoms, and access control panels, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity documentation, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervisors and the oncoming team.
