Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage visitor check-in, verify badges and access requests, monitor cameras and alarm panels, and communicate clearly with employees and leadership. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and coordinating with site contacts to support a professional check-in experience.
  • Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or work authorization, issuing temporary badges when applicable, and documenting arrivals and departures per site requirements.
  • Monitor assigned access points and security-related systems, report suspicious activity, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing reports and maintaining accurate logs of security-related activities.
