As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control and badge checks, monitor cameras and alarms, and document activity in daily logs. You will respond to requests for assistance, communicate clearly with site teams, and support security-related procedures with professionalism. Requirements

  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Staff the front desk and lobby area, greet and direct visitors, and support a professional first point of contact for the site.
  • Manage access control by issuing temporary badges, verifying identification and/or authorization, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and contractor logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing accurate reports and escalating concerns through established notification procedures.
