As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, helping set a welcoming tone while supporting security-related operations. You will manage access entry protocols, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents and service requests, and communicate clearly with on-site teams and emergency responders. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control, and security-related protocols at the front desk, and/or supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building entry points, verify identification and authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and visitor processing.
  • Operate front desk systems such as phones, intercoms, and visitor management logs, document security-related events, and communicate routine updates to on-site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalate issues per post orders, and request additional assistance from building management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Assist with key control, package and delivery coordination, and service provider check-in processes according to site-specific policies, maintaining a professional and courteous presence at all times.
