You will stay highly visible, help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, and document activity with clear reports. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk in a primarily stationary role, greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing individuals to the appropriate area or contact.
  • Control access to the residential property by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor passes when applicable, and maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and other front desk systems, reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance issues according to site instructions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and communicating with property management and/or responding personnel as required.
