About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential front desk post where you welcome residents and guests, manage access, monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, and communicate quickly with property staff and first responders as needed to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor the lobby and entry points using available systems and visual observation, reporting suspicious activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Verify identification, manage visitor registration, issue and collect visitor passes and/or credentials when applicable, and maintain entry logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and phone and radio communications to support security-related operations and client service expectations.
