As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control and badging, answer phones, and monitor cameras and alarms to help identify security-related concerns. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with site leaders, and provide a welcoming, service-focused first impression. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones as assigned, and maintaining a professional lobby presence to help support order at the location.
  • Manage access control at the reception area by checking identification, issuing visitor passes, coordinating sign-in and/or sign-out, and notifying hosts of arrivals.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems from the front desk area, documenting observations and reporting irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing incident reports and communicating updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.
