Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Springfield, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will be the first point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors. You will monitor entry activity, manage visitor check-ins, verify credentials, answer calls, and document security-related incidents with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and access control policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor entry points and lobby activity, issue and/or verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and direct guests to the appropriate contacts.
  • Answer phones and handle general inquiries, route calls and/or messages, and support reception operations for a tech, media and/or telecom office location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal teams and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Complete required documentation such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
