Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Reading, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare front desk where you will be the first point of contact for staff, patients, and visitors. You will manage access control, greet guests, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate clearly with on-site teams. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare office location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and visitor management requirements.
  • Control access by greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment details as required, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor the lobby and reception area for unusual activity, service disruptions, and/or security-related concerns, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities per site instructions.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and key events, and support administrative front desk tasks as assigned by the location.
