About The Position

As a Security Officer Residential Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to property management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and other property-related issues.
Monitor entry points and restricted areas while maintaining an armed post in accordance with site policies, Allied Universal standards, and applicable regulations.
Support daily operations by assisting with visitor interactions, observing tenant and contractor activity, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding incidents, policy questions, and/or unusual conditions.
