As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Primarily driving post is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
Control access to the property by verifying credentials of residents, guests, and service personnel.
Monitor entrances and exits, helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents as required by site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, guests, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
