Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will be responsible for access control and monitoring at a residential location. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist residents, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted behavior and identify potential issues.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance concerns as required by site protocols.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering assistance to residents and visitors as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support a welcoming and secure atmosphere at the location.
Participate in emergency response activities and follow established protocols when appropriate.
