Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a welcoming environment at the residential location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document observations, incidents and/or activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management as needed.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing duties to help to deter potential issues at the location.
