Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control Residential in La Quinta, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity within the residential community.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or conditions.
Document security-related incidents and observations accurately and promptly as required by site and Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the residential location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and site management regarding security-related matters.
