As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents while monitoring access and verifying credentials. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner while monitoring access to the residential community.
- Verify identification and/or authorization for entry, following established procedures to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Screen incoming vehicles and/or individuals, maintaining logs and records as required by site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding any unusual activity or incidents.
- Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and offering directions as needed.
- Remain alert and attentive at the assigned post, observing for any unusual activity or situations that may require a security-related response.
- Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the client.
