Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in Calabasas, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service within a residential community. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for residents and guests. You will interact with community members, address inquiries, and respond to situations as they arise. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points at the residential location, verifying the credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors.
Assist residents and guests by providing customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or maintenance issues as observed during patrols or access control duties.
Collaborate with residential management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for all occupants.
Follow all site-specific emergency response protocols when appropriate.
