As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and service requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and documenting deliveries and vehicle traffic per site requirements.
Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate relevant observations during shift turnover, and coordinate with operations personnel regarding security-related concerns.
