Requirements

  • Two or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges, and/or maintain visitor logs in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Answer questions, direct guests to appropriate destinations, and/or communicate with onsite contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and scheduled appointments.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Support access control and front desk operations by observing entry points, reporting maintenance or policy concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent adherence to post orders.
