As a Security Officer Reception Post in Miamisburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk responsibilities, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining entry records, and helping to control authorized access to the facility.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Support daily operations in a chemical and petrochemical location by observing and reporting unusual activity, documenting security-related concerns, and following established post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, assist with inquiries, and help maintain a professional front desk presence for employees, contractors, and visitors.
