As a Security Officer Reception Driver in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a welcoming, professional environment while responding to security-related concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Staff the front desk and greet, screen, and direct visitors in accordance with site access protocols and confidentiality expectations.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and incident logs.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Assist with answering phones, providing directions, communicating site information, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
