As a Desk Receptionist in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Our Front Desk Officers in a healthcare location welcome visitors, manage access, and support day-to-day security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor screening, and/or access support within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor and staff credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Answer questions, direct visitors, and support employees, patients, and authorized guests with professional communication and security-related assistance.
