About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Coppell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations through strong communication and professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare front desk post.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, reviewing identification and visitor logs, issuing access credentials as directed, and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Support front desk operations by answering routine questions, providing directions, assisting with sign-in processes, and helping to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and attentive service.
  • Complete required reports and incident documentation accurately and relay important security-related information during shift changes and/or to appropriate personnel.
