As a Security Officer Reception Specialist in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Security experience of 1+ years is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, verify identification and/or credentials, and assist with guest registration, badge issuance, and access inquiries in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet employees, contractors, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and consistent application of location procedures.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to visitors, deliveries, and security-related events, while maintaining professionalism and strong communication with clients and staff.
