About The Position

As a Security Officer - Real Estate Front Desk in Waltham, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and handling access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a professional presence and assisting visitors and tenants. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site policies.
Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, including notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency protocols.
Support the overall security-related objectives of the location by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
