Requirements

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or restricted areas in accordance with site policies to help support orderly operations at the location.
• Assist with alarms, emergencies, and/or requested support services while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with staff, visitors, and first responders.
