About The Position

As a Security Officer Property Inspection Driver in Elkton, Maryland, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. In this unarmed driving role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. A valid driver’s license is required. This is a part-time position paying $18.00 per hour, with scheduled shifts on Monday and Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements and for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• A Guard Card/License.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, including building exteriors, perimeters, parking areas, and designated access points.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and property damage through visible patrols, observation, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.
