About The Position

As a Security Officer Pharmaceutical Patrol Specialist in Frederick, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support site operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and maintaining a visible presence aligned with Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
