As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in VICKSBURG, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and support access activities while remaining visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and help to support orderly traffic flow for staff, deliveries, and scheduled visitors.
  • Observe compliance with location rules related to restricted areas, after-hours access, and vehicle activity, and communicate security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through required reporting channels.
