About The Position

Requirements

• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing deliveries, and reporting suspicious behavior, damaged equipment, and/or hazards affecting operations.
• Support day-to-day location operations by communicating clearly with supervisors, staff, and/or visitors, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or security-related concerns.
