About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential community common areas, streets, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident traffic in accordance with community policies; assist with directions and general information as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
