About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol - Secret Clearance in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Support protection of sensitive aerospace and defense operations by observing and reporting potential policy violations, hazards, and suspicious activity in accordance with site requirements.
