About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol GED Proof in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points, verify identification or authorization when required, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with location protocols.
• Support a professional presence at a government location by helping to deter unauthorized activity, providing directions, and communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders as needed.
