As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Granby, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to residential property incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
  • Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports, communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and maintain a professional presence throughout the property.
