Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
