About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Vernon, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns, observations, and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior perimeters, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and shipping and receiving areas, with attention to unusual activity and site policy compliance.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and assist with credential checks, visitor processing, and/or vehicle and delivery traffic control as directed by site procedures.
  • Communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local responders when needed, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and daily operations.
