As a Security Officer Patrol in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned parts of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or visitor information as directed, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Support package flow and facility operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following Allied Universal post orders and reporting procedures.
