About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Robbinsville, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. You will respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and work with a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to identify and report suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, logging visitors and/or deliveries, and reporting unauthorized persons or policy violations.
• Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by remaining alert to changing site conditions, following post orders, and reporting equipment issues, spills, and/or other concerns to appropriate personnel.
