Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day site operations by preparing reports, noting maintenance or life system concerns, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with post orders.
