As a Security Officer Patrol in Danville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101).
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115).
  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204).
  • Candidates must have prior experience with X-ray screening (B218).
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Assist with visitor management, access verification, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care and public areas.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
