As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101).
Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115).
Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204).
Candidates must have prior experience with X-ray screening (B218).
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
Assist with visitor management, access verification, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care and public areas.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
