Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
All candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101) at the time of application.
Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115). This experience should be relevant to the position being applied for and may include roles in security personnel, surveillance, or related fields.
Applicants must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications, email communication, and digital reporting tools essential for the role.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Candidates should have prior experience with X-ray screening (B218). This requirement is crucial for positions that involve security screening processes, ensuring that applicants are equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role effectively.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and compliance with facility protocols.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to supervisors and site personnel.
